Legend Who Inspires

Celebrating Kim's Life

Kim's journey began on May 9, 1971, at Peekskill Community Hospital. Raised in Cortlandt Manor, she was a standout student at Walter Panas High School, excelling in gymnastics and diving. From the birth of her first nephew in 1990, she became known as Aunt Kimmie, a title she treasured deeply. Her vibrant spirit was evident in every interaction—whether lighting up a room with her infectious smile, energizing a gathering with her singing, or demonstrating unwavering loyalty to her friends.

A Passionate Caregiver

Kim's dedication as a Registered Nurse was remarkable. She treated each patient with the same care she would offer her own family. Her diverse career included working as a private nurse for billionaire Sidney Frank, which took her from San Diego to the Bahamas, living on a yacht.

Extensive Career & Experience

After earning her nursing degree from Cochran School of Nursing in Yonkers, she worked at notable institutions like Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, Hudson Valley Hospital, and White Plains Hospital. Her commitment extended beyond patient care to advocacy for women and children affected by domestic violence, becoming a certified advocate to make a real impact. Her accomplishments continue to inspire.

Family Ties and Personal Interests

Kim was raised by her single father, Henry, who instilled in her a strong sense of family and love. Their bond was exceptionally close, with Kim speaking to him every day, leaving a deep emotional void in their lives.

Her Love for Pets

Outside of her family, Kim had two great loves: the New York Jets and her beloved dogs. She is now reunited with her cherished pets Ralphie and Cali, who passed away a couple of years ago, while leaving behind her new companions, Jetlyn and Madden. Her enthusiasm for the Jets never wavered, and despite occasional frustrations, she proudly supported the team with unwavering loyalty.

Supporting Mental Health

Kim's own struggles with mental health have profoundly affected her family. This personal experience drives our mission to support families facing similar challenges, working to reduce stigma and offer understanding and assistance to those in need.
